Itinerary:

DAY 1 ARRIVE IN ROME, ITALY / SORRENTO: Welcome to Italy! After clearing customs and collecting your luggage,

proceed to the arrivals area where you will meet your tour director. Shortly afterwards, depart from Rome and start

your journey towards Sorrento. On arrival in Sorrento, check in to your hotel and enjoy your afternoon at leisure. This

evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with wine. (D)

DAY 2 LEMON FARM & POMPEII: After breakfast, depart to visit a local Lemon Farm. Walk among the typical lemon

groves, while visiting a handcraft Limoncello factory. Enjoy a traditional lunch. Afterwards, make your way to Pompeii

and discover together with your private guide the ancient ruins during a two-hour tour. Imagine a city perfectly

preserved as it was on that fateful day 2,000 years ago, when ash and lava literally stopped it in its tracks. You’ll see the

tragic fossils of people attempting to escape along with children and dogs. Later, return to Sorrento for overnight. (B/L)

DAY 3 EXCURSION TO THE ISLE OF CAPRI: After breakfast, transfer to the port of Sorrento, where you catch a hydrofoil

that whisks you over to the Isle of Capri, the magical and colourful island which has been a favourite resort destination

since the time of the Roman Republic. Visit the lovely Anacapri and explore the charming shops and chic boutiques as

you stroll the island's narrow streets. Continue to see "La Piazzetta," the social heart of the island, home to the

international jet set, on your way to the open-air Gardens of Augustus, from where you will appreciate breath-taking

views of the famous Faraglioni rocks. Return to Sorrento for overnight. (BDAY 1 ARRIVE IN ROME, ITALY / SORRENTO: Welcome to Italy!
