Today journey to Maine for two spectacular areas that are world's apart. Our first stop will be at the Desert of Maine, an area of severe soil erosion caused by poor farming techniques in the late 1800's. Enjoy a guided safari tour. Next we make a stop at L.L. Bean for some shopping and grab some lunch (on your own). We head for Eagle Island via cruising from Freeport. The Eagle Island Adventure takes you to the fascinating museum home of Adm. Peary, the first man to reach the North Pole. Explore the woodsy island trails, beachcomb and watch for seals. Included: Deluxe Motorcoach, all admissions, wine, cheeses and soft drinks and a mystery stop.
