Gourmet Traveler Tours and its agents act only as agents for the passenger
with respect to services provided to passengers by others including and not limited
to the airline industry, hotels, restaurants, sightseeing and transportation (such
as aircraft, motorcoach, railroad, steamship, cruise line, automobile or other conveyance).
Gourmet Traveler Tours and its agents expressly disclaim all responsibility or liability
of any nature whatsoever for loss, damage or injury to property or person due to
any cause whatsoever, occurring during the tour under their management, sponsorship,
procurement or otherwise and the tour participant agrees to waive any claim against
Gourmet Traveler Tours for any injury, loss, damage, defect in any vechicle, or
act, omission, negligence, accident, error or default or any company or person engaged
in providing such services to the tour. Gourmet Traveler Tours reserves the right
to change dates, times, and rates when such changes are compelled by circumstances
beyond its control. Gourmet Traveler Tours reserves the right to withdraw a tour
or any portion of the tour at anytime or make changes in the published itinerary
whenever in its sole judgement conditions warrant or if it deems it necessary for
the comfort, convenience or safety of the passengers. The motor coach company shall
not be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers
are not on board the conveyance. The sole and exclusive responsibility and liability
of the motorcoach company shall be in accordance with and as limited by the contract
carrier in the passenger’s ticket and the applicable tariffs. All tour services
including, but not limited to, hotels, restaurants, guide services, cruise lines,
airlines and other transportation are furnished by contractors that are independent
and do not act for or on the behalf of Gourmet Traveler Tours.
Cancellation Policy
Show Tours:
Deposit for show tours is for the ticket price. Once the tickets are purchased there is no refund unless Gourmet Traveler can
resell the ticket. or you find a replacement. No refund within 30 days of departure.
One-day tours:
Cancellations received within 14 days of departure incur a 50% penalty. There are no refunds 7 days prior to departure.
You may find a replacement or call your travel agent. If there is a wait list and we can resell your seat, you will be refunded.
Multi-day tours:
There is a full refund up to 60 days prior to departure. Cancellations received 59-15 days prior to departure will have a
$50.00 cancellation fee plus any non-recoverable expenses. 14-7 days before departure will have a 50% penalty plus non-recoverable
expenses. There is no refund 7 days prior to departure. You may find a replacement or call your travel agent to see if there is a
wait list for the tour.
Non-recoverable expenses are pre paid expenses incurred by Gourmet Traveler, such as tours, meals etc.
Ask your travel agent about trip cancellation insurance.
